Kiierr Laser Cap Review
The Kiierr272Premier Laser Cap is likely the most exciting laser cap to enter the market in several years. With 272 medical grade laser diodes, this high end laser cap promotes, thicker and more beautiful hair in just 30 mins every other day. The Kiierr laser cap also works to stop thinning and hair fall during the first weeks of treatment, which should excite even the most skeptical amongst us all. But does it really work as well as all the advertising and hype? Is it clinically proven and FDA cleared? Let’s find out in our Kiierr Laser Cap review.
Overview and Features
Right off the bat, you’ll notice that this model is an FDA cleared medical device that’s cleared for the treatment of hair loss in both men and women. This is extremely important when we’re talking about using lasers on our heads. In addition it also proves that this product works as the FDA would not clear it to make claims about hair growth if it was not clinically proven to do so.
The Kiierr Laser Cap is manufactured in an FDA and ISO approved facility, providing peace of mind to the consumer. This hair restoration system is easy to use, and a perfect option for anyone on a tight budget looking for a more affordable solution compared to pricey in-office hair LLLT therapy.
Per the FDA website both Kiierr models (Kiierr148Pro & Kiierr272Premier) have been clinically proven in promoting hair regrowth.
This laser cap can be used by itself (as it’s been proven to work 2-3x better than supplements alone) or combined with another type of hair treatment such as hair transplant surgery or with popular hair restoration products such as Rogaine, Finasteride and others.
For maximum results, Kiierr recommends using their full laser cap bundle which includes hair growth vitamins, shampoo and conditioner.
Inside the Kiierr laser cap package, you’ll find the laser cap, portable power pack, user manual, comfort headband and branded Kiierr baseball cap.
The laser cap itself is made out of an outer hard plastic shell which protects the inner laser panels which have the diodes. Underneath the cap and over the laser panel you’ll see a clear plastic cover which keeps the laser diodes from touching your head directly.
The included portable power pack is used to stop or start treatment. The power pack’s small blue lights make it easy to know how much charge you have left. Kiierr states that a full charge should last 5-7 full 30 min. treatments.
Once you turn the cap via the on button on the power pack, you’ll hear two beeps to let you know it’s on so you don’t have to check and look directly at the laser light. Then you’ll hear one beep at 10 mins, another at 20 mins and finally 2 beeps at 30 mins followed by the laser cap turning itself off. This is very convenient to know how far along you are in your treatment and how long you have left.
Performance and Usage
The Kiierr laser cap is designed for people who have thinning hair or bald areas on the scalp. Obviously, losing your hair can be very stressful, but the this LLLT treatment can really help you get your beautiful hair back. While it obviously can’t regrow your back hair overnight, it can slowly but surely stimulate hair growth with consistent use.
The treatment itself isn’t painful, although some users may feel as though treatment can be time-consuming. The manufacturer recommends using the helmet every other day for 30 minutes.
Who Can Benefit from Treatment?
The manufacturer claims the device works to regrow hair in people diagnosed with androgenic alopecia, also known as male pattern baldness. Men and women with androgenetic alopecia have hair loss in a well-defined pattern that usually begins above the temples. Over a period of several months or years, the hairline will recede, forming the characteristic M shape. The hair can also thin at the crown, slowly progressing to complete or partial baldness.
In women, the pattern of hair loss differs compared to the pattern of hair loss in men and often becomes thinner all over the head. The hairline doesn’t recede. In women, androgenetic alopecia rarely leads to total baldness.
This type of hair loss in men has been associated with a number of other medical conditions including the enlargement of the prostate, and coronary heart disease. Additionally, insulin resistance, high blood pressure, and obesity can all be contributing factors to hair loss. In women, this type of hair loss is usually associated with polycystic ovary syndrome, which is characterized by a hormonal imbalance.
This hair regrowth laser system is recommended for 30 mins per treatment session every other day and will turn itself off once treatment is complete. At the end of the session, the cap will double beep and then will automatically turn off. This way if you happen to be relaxing and take a nap you’ll be protected against over-use.
Users will not have the ability to adjust the treatment time, as this laser cap only offers the automatic 30-minute treatment, which is the FDA-Cleared usage for safe, effective hair growth.

There have been reported reviews that new hair growth has been seen around the 90 day usage mark, which is pretty impressive. Most users report that the treatment can take several months to see new thickening in spots and growth.
Hair growing after laser treatment will be thicker, and softer. Treatment can also have a major positive impact on the texture and quality of your existing hair.
