Kiierr Laser Cap Review
The Kiierr272Premier Laser Cap is perhaps the most exciting laser cap to enter the market within the last several years. With 272 medical grade laser diodes, this high end laser cap promotes thicker and more beautiful hair in months. The Kiierr laser cap also works to stop thinning and hair fall during the first weeks of treatment, which should excite even the most skeptical among us all. But does it really work as well as all the advertising and hype? Is it clinically proven and FDA cleared? Let’s find out in our Kiierr Laser Cap review.
Overview and Features
From the beginning, you’ll notice that this model is an FDA cleared medical device for the treating hair loss in both men and women. This is extremely important when we’re talking about exposing our skin to lasers. In addition, it also proves that this product works safely and effectively. The FDA would not clear it or make claims about hair growth if it was not clinically proven to do so.
The Kiierr Laser Cap is manufactured in an FDA and ISO approved facility, providing peace of mind to the consumer. This hair restoration system is easy to use, and a perfect option for anyone on a tight budget. Especially compared to pricey in-office hair LLLT therapy.
Per the FDA website both Kiierr models (Kiierr148Pro & Kiierr272Premier) have been clinically proven in promoting hair regrowth.
This laser cap can be used by itself (as it’s been proven to work 2-3x better than supplements alone) or combined with another type of hair treatment. This includes hair transplant surgery or popular products such as Rogaine and Finasteride.
For maximum results, Kiierr recommends using their full laser cap bundle which includes hair growth vitamins, shampoo and conditioner.
Inside the Kiierr laser cap package, you’ll find the laser cap, portable power pack, user manual, comfort headband and branded Kiierr baseball cap.
The laser cap itself is made out of an outer hard plastic shell which protects the inner laser panels containing the diodes. Underneath the cap and over the laser panel you’ll see a clear plastic cover which keeps the laser diodes from touching your head directly.
The included portable power pack is used to stop or start treatment. The power pack’s small blue lights make it easy to know how much charge you have left. Kiierr states that a full charge should last 2-3 full 30 min. treatments.
Once you turn on the cap using the power button on the power pack, you’ll hear two beeps to let you know it’s on. Then you’ll hear one beep at 10 minutes, another at 20 minutes and finally 2 beeps at 30 minutes. This is followed by the laser cap turning itself off. This is very convenient to let the user know how far along they are in their treatment and how long they have left.
Performance and Usage
The Kiierr laser cap is designed for people experiencing thinning hair or baldness on the scalp. Obviously, losing your hair can be very stressful, but this LLLT treatment can help you get your beautiful hair back. While it obviously can’t regrow your back hair overnight, it can progressively stimulate hair growth with consistent and directed use.
The treatment itself isn’t painful, although some users may feel as though treatment can be time-consuming. The manufacturer recommends using the helmet every other day for 30 minutes.
Who Can Benefit from Treatment?
The manufacturer claims the device works to regrow hair in people diagnosed with androgenic alopecia. This is also known as male/female pattern baldness. Men and women with androgenic alopecia have hair loss in a well-defined pattern that usually begins above the temples. Over a period of several months or years, the hairline will recede. The hair can also thin at the crown, slowly progressing to complete or partial baldness.
In women, the pattern of hair loss differs from hair loss in men and often becomes thinner all over the head. The hairline doesn’t recede. In women, androgenic alopecia rarely leads to total baldness.
This type of hair loss in men has been associated with a number of other medical conditions including the enlargement of the prostate, and coronary heart disease. Additionally, insulin resistance, high blood pressure, and obesity can all be contributing factors to hair loss. In women, this type of hair loss is usually associated with polycystic ovary syndrome, which is characterized by a hormonal imbalance.
This hair regrowth laser system is recommended for 30 minutes every other day. At the end of the session, the cap will double beep and then automatically turns off. This way if you happen to be relaxing and take a nap you’ll be protected against over-use.
Users will not have the ability to adjust the treatment time. This laser cap only offers the automatic 30-minute treatment, which is FDA-cleared for safe, effective hair growth.

There are reported reviews that new hair growth has been seen around the 90 day usage mark, which is pretty impressive. Most users report that the treatment can take several months to see new thickening in problematic areas.
Hair growing after laser treatment will be thicker and softer. Treatment can also have a major positive impact on the texture and quality of your existing hair.
